Description: It's good idea to replace this every 60k miles to prevent failure that could cause the car to overheat or not get up to operating temperature.  If this fails closed position it can cause a blown headgasket among other engine damage, if it fails in the open position your car will be wasting a ton of fuel and not getting full power.
